Nyarlantothep A cover with foggy trees and a romantic title stamped upon it - seems pretty generic right? Wrong. There's a fire there, eager to spread.

Engrossing atmosphere, visceral riffs and an evocative use of neoclassical elements make this album into a breathing masterpiece. The first 5 minutes will draw you in with a force unseen from the likes of Year of No Light.

BROKE DEWD Good lord. The atmosphere of this record is absolutely off the charts. Everything blends together seamlessly into a long winding trip through the deep and dreary forest that adorns it's cover art.

I first heard Pillars when I attended Post. Fest 2018 to hear Heron play (I have 2 talented nephews who are members of that band). I thought the guys in Pillars sounded tight and awesome. This album, CAVUM, just proves even more so that I was correct! My favorites on the album are Dissolution and Black Prayer, but plenty of excellent sounds here! Kenneth Blick
